Charly and Hanna Bailly opened the Bailly Gallery in Geneva in 2007 and a second gallery in Paris in 2019. The family's first art gallery was opened at the 25 Quai Voltaire, across from the Louvre in 1977. Today, Charly and Hanna continue to work within the family and draw on their experience and expertise in the art world. The Bailly Gallery draws upon our extensive research library in our advisory role to clients wishing to acquire or sell works of art. This unique library includes numerous catalogs raisonnée from all major art movements, over 40,000 books, and almost 700,000 archive photographs.
In addition to this impressive research source, the gallery accesses information from other prestigious databases to provide a unique and comprehensive analysis of the artwork along with research on the artist to our clients.
The Bailly Gallery's exhibits feature works by artists such as Henri Matisse, Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso, Ernst Kirchner, Marc Chagall, Auguste Rodin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and other masters of the artistic movements of the 19th and 20th century.
